We offer the following customized tour of this unique tropical lowland rainforest:

A comfortable van will pick you up in San José for the drive to the canals in Moin, (near Limón) with a substantial breakfast provided en route. During the 2-1/2 hour drive, you will travel through the cloud forest of Braulio Carillo National Park, down to the Atlantic slope through banana plantations.

Tortuguero

At the wharf in Moin, you will board the Riverboat Francesca and tour the Tortuguero canals, stopping frequently to view the wildlife along the way.

Arriving at the lodge in Tortuguero by early afternoon, a hearty lunch is included.
